Data protection
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.
Contact us
If you contact us via a form on the website, be it via the general enquiry form, detailed product enquiry form or simply by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions for the duration of the business relationship. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
Data storage
We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the shopping process and for the subsequent processing of the contract, the IP data of the connection owner is stored by the webshop operator within the framework of cookies.
In addition, the following data will also be stored by us for the purpose of processing the contract: Company, title, contact person, email, website, billing and/or shipping address, telephone numbers, ATU number. The data provided by you is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. No data is transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of order-relevant data to our sub-suppliers, printers or to the transport company/shipping company commissioned by us or our sub-suppliers for the delivery of the goods and to our tax advisor for the fulfilment of our obligations under tax law.
After the shopping process has been cancelled, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the retention period under tax law (7 years). The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are furthermore stored until the expiry of the product liability (10 years). The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the fulfilment of the contract) of the DSGVO.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.
We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.
If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.
If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.
Web analysis
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. The information thus generated is transferred to the provider’s server and stored there.
You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding contract for commissioned data processing with the provider.
Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymised [e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits]. This means that only a rough localisation is possible.
The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO.
Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised.
Newsletter
You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter via our website. For this, we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter in order to provide you with targeted information.
You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. This cancellation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the cancellation.
Your rights
With regard to your data stored by us, you are generally entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can complain to us at pilates@bodyhood.com or to the data protection authority.
